L7, L8 and L9: compare generations and space

The old “L7 five seats, L8 six seats” shortcut is no longer enough. The current official L8 is a five-seat 5135 mm SUV, while the L9 reference is a six-seat 5255 mm flagship. L7 is shown here as a historical five-seat sourcing reference. Decide on passenger count first, then compare generation-specific cabin and battery details.

Start with the model year

Model names can stay the same while dimensions, batteries, seating and equipment change. Compare the exact year and trim, then confirm the offered vehicle’s specification sheet. A launch photograph does not establish equipment on another version.

Compare how you use the space

Consider passengers, child seats, luggage and third-row access together. The current L8 official page describes five seats, whereas earlier L8 references describe six. The i8 is a three-row six-seat reference. Confirm seating against the actual vehicle before deciding.

Ask for a comparable quotation

Provide model year, trim, quantity, destination and required equipment. Ask which inspection and preparation work is included and which fees are separate. Compare quotes with the same vehicle specification and service scope; confirm validity and payment terms in writing.

Sourced to order. Availability, price, export eligibility and timing require confirmation.
